OH NO! I just realized that I never wrote my review for the first of two fantastic concerts that I was fortunate enough to attend by the man! How utterly awful of me. The truth is, I went off on a tangent about the concert in NC that I didn't know what to write here. (Right, I jest.) Granted it's been ages since I saw him the first time, but since it was the "first time" (evil grin inserted here) I will remember it fondly forever.
We all know the particulars, don't we? After all, we were all there in one state, country or another. Most of you had it better than me many times over as you have had the pleasure of spending time with the man before, but then one can never get enough of him.
Looking back I still cannot believe I was front row center!! I mean what happened to all those people in front of me in line? Well I thank you all for not rushing the stage and letting me have a great view. I had been waiting for this day since the days of yore (the 70's).
My only regret was that I did not get to stay after the show to meet him because Heather had school the next day, and we needed to get home. But if I had it to do over again, I would do it the same way as I am happy to report that due to taking her to the concert she became a fan!
Suffice to say he was so great that when I found out his last concert in the US was going to be in North Carolina, I was going to be there along with Valerie and Heather.
