EDGAR A. POE & THE RAVEN CREATION. Master Poe and that blasted noir avian... The 36th in the series and the seventh, in the POE series. Valentine's Day is just around the corner and Blackie & Mr. Poe would love nothing better than to spend it with you! This inseperable duo are perched upon a "refurbished" mantel clock which measures, 8 1/2 x 8 inches and 2 1/2 inches in width. Poe, himself, measures about 5 3/4 inches tall and his "bones" are formed of a plastic type material, with a nice touch of age added. Raven sits on the stoop of his favorite window sill at Poe's home in Baltimore. He loves to correct Mr. Poe as he adds the finishing touches to one of his most memorable poems, what else, The Raven, of course! [Sold: February 15, 2007] |

THE OVAL PORTRAIT. Master Poe's, "The Oval Portrait." The 32nd in a series of OOAK un-"Natural" objects d'art from the dArK cobwebbed filled hemisphere of my brain.. Darkness is just around the corner and this ethereal beauty would love nothing better than to spend it with you! She measures 5 3/4 inches and her "bones" are formed of a plastic type material, with a nice touch of age added. At this moment, she is perserved behind a convex piece of glass, in a 11 x 8 3/4 gilded (oval) wood/ceramic type frame. She rests eternally on a piece of black fabric with gold and silver tones.
